A Research Assistant 2 position is available for adeno-associated virus (AAV) and gene therapy research in the Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics. The Lab's major research focus is to elucidate the AAV vector-animal host interactions using contemporary high throughput molecular biology technologies and to develop novel AAV vectors for broader applications of this vector system to treat various human diseases.
This position will provide an excellent opportunity to learn basic and advanced molecular biology techniques and theories behind them, and to gain valuable hands-on experience in biological and biomedical sciences.
