Greets patients, visitors and employees at points of entry into OHSU hospitals and clinics in a professional and courteous manner. Handles multiple priorities concurrently, while maintaining a calm disposition. Screens individuals for illness according to the current OHSU policy.
Communicate OHSU visitor policy as needed. Stay current on any updates or changes to OHSU policy.
Proficient in the use of any required OHSU electronic systems, including but not limited to: Smartsheet, Box, Oracle, or other systems as assigned.
One year of experience in public contact (such as Public Service Representative, Salesperson, or Receptionist), which included answering questions and providing information.
Must demonstrate a stable work history.
Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Demonstrates interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrates prioritization skills and critical thinking skills.
Must demonstrate consistent and punctual attendance.
Must be able to work in teams.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.
High school Diploma or equivalent.
Customer Service Experience within the healthcare field.
