The School of Dentistry shares the mission of the Oregon Health & Science University to provide educational programs, basic and clinical research, and high quality care and community programs. Function/Duties of Position

This position is under the direct supervision of the chair of the Department of Oral and Craniofacial Sciences , Laura Iwasaki.

 

Primary responsibilities include didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical teaching at pre- and post-doctoral levels. Other activities may include academic program advising, specific and general scholarly projects, professionally related public service, departmental and institutional administrative activities, student support service activities, course and curriculum planning, and research and development.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Dental degree (DDS/DMD) from a CODA accredited school
  • Completion of a CODA accredited post-doctoral program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics 
  • Eligible for licensure in Oregon
  • BLS/ACLS from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in teaching, research, service, patient care, and academic management, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills are preferred.
