Under direct supervision, primarily provides general administrative support for a project, team, or work unit. Similar to an Office Clerk or Specialist*. May also include some basic data entry and report generation.
-Phone calls to students
-Email communication/reminders to students
-Electronic database filing (OnBase filing system)
-Support faculty with projects online and in Sakai (Learning Management System)
Education: Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in college (undergraduate minimum 6 credit hours; graduate minimum 4.5 credit hours).
Experience: Minimum of one year of work experience in an office or higher education office environment handling sensitive/confidential data.
Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Competencies): Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Prior experience and knowledge of Microsoft office suite
Strong customer service skills
Strong phone etiquette
Team player, professional, self-motivated individual
Remote work may be possible.
