At OHSU's Oregon Institute of Occupational Health, our mission is “improving the lives of workers though biomedical and occupational research”. The Oregon Fatality Assessment and Control Evaluation (OR-FACE) program, housed within the Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences, is seeking a part-time (0.50 FTE, 20 hours per week) fatality investigator position at the rank of Research Associate.
The OR-FACE program is funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and has the mission of preventing occupational fatalities through surveillance, targeted investigation, and outreach. he OR-FACE fatality investigator will report to Dr. David Hurtado (OR-FACE Project Director) and work closely with the OR-FACE research coordinator (Ms. Jackie Boyd, MPH).
Primary job responsibilities for this position include:
Master’s degree with major courses in relevant field and 3 years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with major courses in field of research (or RN or allied health professional) and 5 years of relevant experience.
Work will be conducted in the field, teleworking and on OHSU's campus (hybrid).
