The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at OHSU specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of digestive and liver diseases. Our physicians and advanced practice providers are nationally recognized leaders in education, research, and clinical care. As the only academic medical center in Oregon, we have a collaborative relationship with primary care and subspecialty providers across the state and Pacific Northwest. Many gastroenterologists throughout the region completed their training in our Division and partner with us to provide the latest advances in clinical care.
OHSU is a 562-bed hospital with a 128 bed expansion set to open in April 2026 and a state-of-the-art inpatient endoscopy unit set to open in September 2025.
The GI Hospitalist/Assistant Professor will provide consultative care for patients admitted to OHSU. The General GI consult service is supported by a GI fellow and a skilled and experienced advanced practice provider (NP/PA). Clinical duties will primarily consist of providing patient care on the inpatient consult service, Ambulatory endoscopy, and urgent GI clinic.
