Function/Duties of Position

The purpose of this position is to collect and record accurate and complete required demographic information, primarily related to REALD ((Race, Ethnicity, Language, and Disability) implementation. Provide excellent customer service and compassion centered responses regarding questions and clarification from patients and practice staff on registration demographic and REALD requirements and procedures. This position provides phone support and assists with office tasks as needed, which may include mail distribution, supply stocking, word processing, scanning, copying, and faxing.    

Required Qualifications

  • One year of general office or secretarial experience; AND An associate’s degree or certificate in office occupations or office technology; OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree and six months of general office and secretarial experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Computer skills including word processing, Windows applications, and use of database software, Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and experience.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Epic EHR experience; Training or experience with REALD
