Department Overview

Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) located in Astoria, Oregon is a full service, 25-bed, critical access, not-for-profit, Planetree-Certified hospital where person-centered care is a priority. CMH has proudly served the healthcare needs of our community for over a century.  Combined, the hospital and clinics employ over 700 employees which includes a diverse professional medical staff of more than 50 physicians and advance practice professionals including surgical, non-surgical and primary care specialties. 

 

We are seeking a Family Medicine physician to serve the efforts of OHSU and CMH in improving the health of all Oregonians. This position will serve as an OHSU Clinical Associate providing clinical care within the CMH Seaside Urgent Care Clinic at Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) located in Seaside, Oregon. OHSU Clinical Associates are fully embedded physician and advanced practice provider members of the OHSU Practice Plan (OPP) who deliver care at OHSU-affiliated settings and devote 100 percent of their time to patient care.

Function/Duties of Position

Clinical:

  • CMH Seaside Urgent Care Clinic
  • Number of clinics / schedule
  • Call schedule

Administration:

  • Administrative and other duties may be assigned based on department needs and your areas of expertise and interest.

Required Qualifications

 

Education:

  • MD / DO
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in a primary specialty (internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, etc.)

Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team of health care providers and collaborate to achieve patient care goals.
  • Experience working in an interdisciplinary setting.

Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Competencies):

  • Communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other clinicians in the work unit.

Registrations, Certifications and/or Licenses:

  • Eligibility for Oregon Medical License
  • DEA
