Dr. Carbone is an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine at OHSU and is affiliated with the Departments of Medicine, Molecular & Medical Genetics , Medical Informatics & Clinical Epidemiology and the Oregon National Primate Research Center. Dr. Carbone is also the director of the KCVI Epigenetic consortium, which works to promote epigenetics research and education across faculty, students, and physicians.
The Carbone Lab at the Oregon Health & Science University invites applications for a Computational Biologist. The recruited person will work under supervision of the PI and a computational staff scientist to contribute to a newly funded project that aims to generate epigenetic maps from non-human primate tissues during development.
At least 1 year previous experience in bioinformatics analysis, including analysis of next-generation sequencing data.
