OHSU’s Mission Control department has been an industry leader in the use of real-time streaming data to make a difference for patients and the teams charged with their care. A chief goal of OHSU’s Mission Control department is to place more patients efficiently in order to provide more access to more patients across the region.
As a part of the OHSU Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics (BIAA) division, this position is responsible for developing comprehensive data and analytics toolsets and interactive solutions for the OHSU Mission Control unit. This includes operational reporting and dashboards, real-time data flow creation and management, providing data and analysis in support of clinical quality and research initiatives, and related project efforts as prioritized by OHSU Mission Control leadership.
This person will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining data and analytics solutions, including:
This position will be developing solutions primarily with Epic’s Cogito platform (Clarity and Caboodle), Microsoft SQL Server tools, and BusinessObjects. However, duties may extend to include exploration of new solutions leveraging Microsoft’s Azure DataFactoty, DataBricks, PowerBI, and additional analytics tools. Azure DevOps will be used for version control, code management, and code deployment. All development will observe the OHSU BIAA data governance policies and SDLC practices.
