Department Overview

This position provides the unique opportunity to gain experience in a variety of research approaches, and would be ideal for ambitious candidates with previous laboratory experience and interested in a career in science. Benefits of this position include abundant guidance and education from the PI, lab manager, and lab members; opportunity for collaboration with other groups; and opportunity for growth within the lab and potential ownership of independent scientific projects. 

Function/Duties of Position

  • Cell culture work, sequencing and molecular biology assays
  • Work on mouse models and colony management
  • General lab work (molecular biology, proteomics, other as needed)
  • Analysis & presentation of results to investigators

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in relevant field AND 1 years of relevant experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Comfortable with work with mouse models (training will be provided).
  • Cell culture competency required.
  • Regular and relliable attendance.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous work with murine experimental models preferred but not required.
