The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the University’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service. The Advanced Heart Failure Advanced Practice Practitioner (HFAPP) will focus on the medical needs of acute and chronic heart failure patients before and after advanced heart failure therapies as a member of the Heart Failure team, primarily in the ambulatory setting. All patients in this clinic were initially referred for consideration of advanced heart failure therapies. In addition, as a member of the OHSU- KCVI team, the HF APP will work in partnership with faculty physicians, fellows, residents, and other APPs to provide excellent clinical care and customer service to our cardiovascular outpatients. The HF APP will participate in relevant educational conferences and be familiar with active cardiovascular treatment protocols.
Clinical: This role will be 100% focused in the Heart Failure ambulatory practice - with flexibility to meet patient (inpatient) care needs, as required.
