The Stem Cell and Bone Biology lab at OHSU School of Dentistry, affiliated to OHSU Department of Orthodontics, is recruiting a Postdoctoral Scholar who can provide a full range of support in the research laboratory. Must be able to work effectively with the principal investigator and graduate students. The focus of this position will be studying perivascular stem cells in orthopedic tissue regeneration and treatment for craniofacial skeletal disease.
A strong preference will be given to applicants with past experience or education in the development of stem cell and mineralization tissue expertise, proven record of taking initiative, and a strong educational background. Candidate with bioinformatics kills in mineralization tissue background is preferable. The position includes a modest amount of basic laboratory operations (basic instrumentation maintenance, general laboratory support, biosafety, ordering materials and supplies), animal care, animal/human samples handling and support with editing grants/manuscripts.
