Department Overview

 

Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) in collaboration with the Knight Cancer Institute and Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a Medical Oncology/Hematology physician to join our established practice with an interdisciplinary cancer care team.

 

Our opening offers the opportunity to provide hematologic and oncologic care to patients in a community clinic setting designed for healing. We offer an exceptional work-life alignment where comprehensive, quality time with patients is a priority.

 

Function/Duties of Position

  • Established, collaborative, multidisciplinary practice focused on quality, person-centered care.
  • Outpatient role with occasional inpatient consultations.
  • Four-day work week with dedicated patient care, administrative time and a shared call schedule.
  • Community clinic setting that has a longstanding relationship with Knight Cancer Institute and Oregon Health & Science University.
  • Active collaboration with oncology providers, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and primary care providers
  • Opportunity for a leadership or frontline physician role.

Required Qualifications

  • MD, MD/PhD, DO, MBBS, or MBBCh
  • Board Certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology
  • Active, unrestricted Oregon Medical License
  • DEA Certificate
