The Supply Chain Resiliency Manager enables change by partnering with other functions to root cause and improve systemic issues that influence supply reliability. Responsible for ensuring the stability and continuity of OHSU¿s supply chain operations and developing and implementing supply chain resiliency plans, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating with other departments to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods. Monitoring and analyzing supply chain trends and making organizational recommendations for improvement.

Function/Duties of Position

  • Oversee the implementation of innovative and effective resiliency strategies within OHSU to continuously reduce service vulnerability. Serve as lead supply chain risk subject matter expert.
  • Design and implement supply chain risk training to support transformation efforts.
  • Coordinate with organizational change management experts, data scientists, data engineers, and functional users to design, document and implement a best-in-class supply chain resilience program . Establish an ongoing review of the program to ensure best practices are captured and the program is up to date.
  • Engage with suppliers to understand their risk management strategy and approach to supply chain transparency, translating them to actionable insights to reduce OHSU’s risk.
  • Support the pro-active identification of high-risk suppliers, commodities, part numbers or supply chain nodes through an established risk management methodology
  • Implement, analyze, report, and maintain metrics and dashboards to ensure efficiency and value to the business
  • Continually monitor risk in the OHSU supply chain (internal and external) and take timely action to address identified risks.
  • Build processes and modern supply chain technologies that allow OHSU to forecast, anticipate, and respond quickly to future risks and opportunities.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • OR An equivalent combination of experience will substitute for the degree requirement.
  • Experience in Supply Chain operations, manufacturing environment including Supply Chain Risk or business continuity.
  • Compliance with Code of Conduct, Respect in the workplace and Applicable policies, procedures and agreements related to position, department or OHSU as a whole
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in related field

  • Supply chain certification, e.g., CPIM, MCIPS or equivalent; or working towards obtaining it

Additional Details

Salary Range: $74,193.60 - $118,539.20 a year

  • This is a remote, work from home, position. Hours are 8-5, Monday through Friday. Local travel to OHSU's locations throughout the Portland area will be a part of this position. Occasional travel to conferences may be required.
  • Office environment: sitting and working on a computer for long periods. Extensive walking may be required for meetings with stakeholders throughout OHSU, including hospital, academic, research and administrative office environments as well as the occasional need to participate in tours of OHSU campus with vendors. Ability to speak to groups. Some lifting of boxes or large binders may be involved.
