Department Overview

The Knight Cancer Institute/Division of Hematology & Oncology is seeking medical oncologists to practice at one or more of our community cancer clinics throughout the Portland Metro area.

Function/Duties of Position

The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.

 

It is anticipated the position will be made up of the following components: Clinical, Teaching, Research/Academic and In-Patient Service.

 

OHSU Classification: OHSU Clinical Associate

Required Qualifications

  • MD, MD/PhD
  • Medical oncologist/hematologist licensed to practice medicine in Washington and Oregon
  • Board certified in Internal Medicine
  • Board certified/board eligible in medical oncology/hematology with a desire to practice in a community based clinical environment as part of an academic health care system.

Preferred Qualifications

Physician leadership experience and demonstrate the background, focus, and drive to excel, as well as the ability to provide excellent clinical care to cancer patients in the community setting.
