This is a research position involving extensive work with patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models of pediatric solid cancers in immune-compromised laboratory mice, culturing of PDX-derived cells; characterization of PDX tumors and cells by RNA/DNA sequencing, perform qPCR and Western blotting; analyze immunohistochemical assays including generation of publication quality imaging and quantification; help plan and implement collaborative projects with partner labs, including teaching relevant techniques; maintain lab spaces and assist with ordering and stocking lab; independently design and implement experiments; and responsible for writing and editing of manuscripts. Attend weekly lab meetings and present your research upon request.
