Department Overview

The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.

Function/Duties of Position

Clinical: This position is responsible for providing initial and ongoing care for patients with thyroid, parathyroid, and squamous cell cancer as part of a multidisciplinary clinic. 50% of the practice is expected to include endocrine surgery and provide radiofrequency ablation. This position will see patients at the Otolaryngology Beaverton Clinic Location 1-2 days a week and operate 3 days a month at the OHSU partner Hospital Hillsboro Medical Center. The position will be expected to take its fair share of calls, as assigned, with other faculty on nights, weekends, and holidays.

 

Education: OHSU is a teaching facility, and the position will expect to teach medical students and residents in the clinical setting and through assigned lectures given throughout the year.
