Function/Duties of Position

Primary Role: Clinical trial coordinator (TI Clinical Research Assistant 2) involved in scheduling visits, screening, consenting, blood draws, biometric measurements, recording but not reading EKG (if trained), administering cognitive tests and interviews, processing participant blood and urine samples, entering data into RedCAP, assisting with regulatory documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in relevant field OR Associate's AND 2 years of relevant experience OR 3 years of relevant experience OR Equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Previous experience with clinical trials
  • Record keeping skills, ability to communicate well with participants
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the OHSU campus during study visits is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical trial coordinator experience
  • Preparation and upkeep of documentation related to clinical trials
  • Phlebotomy experience

Additional Details

  • Typical schedule: M-F, 16 hours per week
  • Work schedule may vary depending on job/study requirements; some study visits may require an 8 hour work day
  • Travel between meeting locations including using the Portland Aerial Tram
  • May have regular exposure to noise and interruptions
  • Position is not remote; work location: OHSU Marquam Hill campus
