OHSU has three missions: healing, teaching, and discovery. In the School of Nursing, these focus to optimize health, prepare nurse leaders, and transform health care. Infusing these is a fourth: to become a trauma-informed and truly anti-racist institution. The School of Nursing has made the same commitment. We, along with all of OHSU, are striving to become a place where every member can be safe, be at their best, and do their best work. With support from OHSU leadership and the Center for Diversity and Inclusion and using a trauma-informed approach, we are transforming our culture, policies, admissions, hiring, and more.
We are seeking the best candidate for the position, and we understand that qualified candidates come from a range of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and pathways to competency. We encourage you to apply if you feel you can perform the essential responsibilities of the position even if you are unsure whether you meet the minimum qualifications described or are unsure if your experience could be considered related experience.
