This position reports to the Section Chief of Body Imaging and to the Departmental Chair of Diagnostic Radiology (DR). The purposes of the role are to (1) perform image-guided procedures and fluoroscopy (2) work with and provide guidance to Radiology nurses and technologists in the preparation of patients for image guided procedures and procedural sedation, (3) supervision of nurse- administered moderate sedation for MRI or CT , (4) work collaboratively with clinic management on process improvement projects, and (5) provide education to residents, staff and students as required.
