Under direct supervision, primarily performs basic research or lab activities similar to a Research Assistant 1 or Lab Aide.

 

Duties include literature review, data collection, data processing, imaging software design and programming, vibratome sectioning of fixed animal tissues, assisting with immunohistochemistry, labware cleaning, autoclave sterilization, lab stocking and sanitization, animal handling and research.

Enrolled in or on vacation from, or is otherwise registered in an Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours), OR Graduate Program (minimum 4.5 credit hours).

Work location: OHSU Marquam Hill campus in Mackenzie Hall
