The Faculty Recruiter serves department and unit leaders at the Knight Cancer Institute to operationalize recruitment and hiring needs. This individual manages, oversees, and is accountable for the recruitment process for Faculty and Provider recruitments across the Knight Cancer Institute and is responsible for identifying areas of inefficiency and addressing and resolving issues. This role assists hiring managers by educating them on best practices, training and guiding hiring managers, and providing thorough administrative support throughout the recruitment process. The Faculty Recruiter performs full-cycle recruiting, and partners with hiring managers and department directors to align recruitment with business needs. This role employs contemporary, innovative recruitment strategies to attract diverse, well-qualified candidates and is key in developing department talent pipelines. The Faculty Recruiter supports the Knight Cancer HR Team in developing, implementing, and evaluating recruitment initiatives and programs. The Faculty Recruiter participates in special projects in addition to day-to-day operational responsibilities. Additionally, they will partner with other Knight Cancer Institute functional areas to implement initiatives or programs.
Duties Include:
Engages with hiring managers to develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies for faculty recruitment within Knight Cancer Institute. Develops talent pipelines to provide a foundation for developing, progressing, and retaining a talented and engaged workforce, and engages internal and external stakeholders. Identifies, offers strategies, and engages solutions to meet workforce needs. Evaluate the strategy's effectiveness and make modifications as needed to build successful outcomes. Utilizes data and reporting to evaluate performance and decision support.
Manages a requisition load and all phases of the recruitment process for faculty recruitment within Knight Cancer Institute, consistent with law, organizational policies and procedures, and best practices to develop diverse, well-qualified applicant pools. This includes developing recruitment plans, proactively sourcing, selecting recruitment marketing strategies, applicant screening, interviewing, and reference checks. Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers and candidates, meet service level agreements, and ensure a positive candidate and customer experience. Maintains recruitment and hiring documentation.
