Department Overview

The School of Dentistry shares the mission of the Oregon Health & Science University to provide educational programs, basic and clinical research, and high quality care and community programs. Function/Duties of Position

Under direct supervision, primarily provides general administrative support for a project, team, or work unit. Similar to an Office Clerk or Specialist*. May also include some basic data entry and report generation. Clean, stock and maintain materials inventory for pre-doctoral clinic labs, inclusive of cleaning sinks. Ensure equipment is running properly, inform clinic manager if repairs are needed. 

Required Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in an OHSU Graduate Program (minimum 4.5 credit hours)
  • Must have experience in a dental clinic environment
  • Must have great communication skills
  • Must be team player
  • Duties to be performed during the off-hours of the predoctoral endodontic clinic, inclusive of before clinic starts, between clinic sessions, or after clinic ends
  • Universal precautions for Infection
  • Control are to be practiced
