The Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research (CEDAR) center is a collaborative institution within the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute. As a Research Assistant 1, you will be part of collaborative project teams assisting in research activities, including routine procedures, data preparation, and analysis. You will have a detailed knowledge of all aspects of laboratory research and be comfortable working individually and in highly collaborative teams. You will possess sound organizational and interpersonal skills.
We are developing exciting new ex vivo tissue models coupled to cell signaling biosensors and live-to-cell microscopy approaches to enable real-time studies of tumor-host interactions. Our long-term goal is to determine how tumor-host interactions regulate single-cell drug response phenotypes and leverage these findings to enhance drug efficacy. To assist in the conduct of these studies, we are currently hiring for a highly motivated Research Assistant 1.
