The Department of Pediatrics is recruiting for part-time Administrative Coordinator to act as a Fellowship Program Coordinator.
The Fellowship Program Coordinator (PC) works closely with the Program Directors of two Pediatric fellowship training programs to maintain the educational quality and ensure compliance with ACGME accreditation and other regulatory requirements. This position involves working collaboratively with the Program Directors in developing program policies and procedures; reviewing program operations for compliance; recommending process improvements; and communicating with fellows, faculty, and staff about program policies and procedures.
The PC is responsible for the operational administration of the programs, including (but not limited to):
This position reports directly to the Director of Education Programs in the Department of Pediatrics, with oversight from the associated Fellowship Program Directors and Associate Program Directors. This position also works closely with the fellows and faculty in each program, as well as with other department fellowship coordinators and education staff team.
The position requires a thorough knowledge of national and state accreditation policies and hospital/institutional policies, and the ability to interpret and apply those policies to ensure program compliance. The position also requires a high degree of initiative, strong attention to detail, independent judgment, and collaborative skills.
