Department Overview

Reasons to be excited about this position:

The OHSU Knight Cancer Institute is on a mission to end cancer as we know it and is recognized as a national frontrunner in cancer care and research. We are part of worldwide cancer organizations and networks of experts. That puts us on the front lines of the fight against cancer.  Every year, we treat about 6,000 patients and conduct about 1,400 research projects, including more than 400 clinical trials. Our research has led to groundbreaking advances in targeted therapy, immunotherapy, surgery and other ways to fight cancer. We’re also developing new ways to find cancer early, when it’s easier to treat.

Knight Cancer Institute is experiencing significant growth, meaning there is considerable opportunity for professional and programmatic growth. The Patient & Family Services Program is inclusive of social work and integrative medicine, including a team of experts to help our patients such as social workers, social work specialists, acupuncturists, massage therapists and writing group facilitators, among others.

Join us. Let’s end cancer as we know it. Together.
