The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner plays a critical role in attracting, recruiting and hiring key talent for the OHSU Hospital Expansion Project (OHEP). This large scale, complex project will involve the recruitment and hiring of approximately 800 FTE for various positions, clinical and non- clinical. The project initially involves the In-Patient Addition (IPA)-new tower, then the backfill of space within the Kohler Pavilion, as a result of other units moving. The In-Patient Addition is expected to open April 1, 2026.
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will report to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor for the project, partner with the HR Project Manager, fellow Talent Acquisition Partners, operations leaders and other stakeholders to ensure the identified positions are filled timely with well qualified professionals. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner manages and has accountability for recruitments. They focus on complex/hard to fill positions, people manager and have other positions specific to the project. They serve as a subject matter expert on Talent Acquisition. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner develops and executes innovative strategies for positions to attract diverse, well qualified talent to ensure project success. This includes researching and recommending new sources for active and passive candidate attraction and leading efforts to develop pathways for talent. They have the responsibility to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment plans and creating refinements or pivoting if the strategies are not heeding the necessary results within the defined timeframes.
This is a hybrid position. During the project, it will include working on-site in Portland, Oregon, as well as events in the metro area, along with working from home. The position will begin immediately. It is time-limited. The anticipated end date of this position will be approximately June 30, 2026, based on the anticipated timeline of the in-patient addition and the backfill of Kohler Pavilion.
Serves as a subject matter expert on recruitment and hiring procedures and best practices; screening and interviewing techniques, evaluating candidates’ qualifications, selection processes and methodologies for equitable decision making; relocation; strategies for managing vacancies; collecting and analyzing data and collective bargaining provisions related to recruitment and selection. Provides training, education and coaching on process, tools and systems. Using knowledge and expertise, provides consultation to Talent Acquisition staff within the project.
Engages with leadership to develop and implement innovative strategic plans to address needs. Develops talent pathways to provide a foundation for the development, progression and retention of a talented and engaged workforce, engages internal and external stakeholders. Works in collaboration with HR Business Partners. Identifies, offers strategies and engages solutions to barriers that prevent departments from effectively meeting workforce needs. Evaluates the effectiveness of the strategies and makes modifications as needed to build successful outcomes. Utilizes data and reporting to evaluate performance and decision support.
Participates in the design, documentation of, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of procedures, processes, tools, systems, and policies to ensure efficient delivery of information and service to all stakeholders. Assists with updates, serves as content expert. Acts as a key partner for change management. Leads work groups and special projects.
Monitors performance against key performance indicators, metrics and benchmarks.
Participates in the development and deployment of hiring and recruitment events. Attends events. Assists in the evaluation of outcomes from the events, ie. hires made, and measuring return on investment.

This is a hybrid remote position. It will be hybrid, some work from home, but with on-site meetings and time on campus in Portland, Oregon, as well as events within the Portland metro area.
Work hours are as required to complete assignment, core hours are 8 am to 5 pm PST, Monday through Friday. There will be need to participate in recruit and hiring activities which can occur outside core hours, ie. evenings or weekends.
