This position assists with the coordination and management of a research study for caregivers for those with dementia, and a second project that teaches clinicians about dementia.
This work will take place at the Layton Aging & Alzheimer's Disease Center.
The RA will manage a large study for caregivers for those with dementia. This includes recruiting, screening, consenting, and managing research participants. The RA will work with the team to identify potential participants, then screen and consent them. The RA will need to organize all aspects of the study, including (but not limited to) scheduling of participants, managing interventionists, collecting and entering data in REDCap and Qualtrics. This RA will be responsible for data management for caregiving projects directed by Dr. Lindauer.
Previous human subjects research experience preferable, but not required. Strong interpersonal communication skills a must. Ability to complete complex and detail-oriented duties while working closely with patients, research subjects, families, providers, investigators, study staff and external organizations. Basic data management skills, including REDCap experience, are required. Must have the ability to integrate information from multiple sources. This work requires the use of independent judgement, problem solving skills, and project and time management. Personal transportation for community activities required.
