OHSU Family Medicine is part of OHSU School of Medicine. Family Medicine clinics are home to more than 120,000 patients every year, but despite the large number, our physicians, nurses and other clinic staff know their patients - and their families - by name. We provide all that family medicine has to offer - from maternity care through geriatrics. Our patient care is among the nation's best, ranked #1 among the nation's medical school family medicine departments by U.S. News and World Report 2019, 2020 and 2021.
This is one year fellowship position (non ACGME accredited) designed to be completed in Eugene Oregon at the University of Oregon (UO) in the Athletic department. The fellows must have completed an ACGME accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship program and be eligible to take/have passed the Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine (CAQSM). The role will be combination of clinical, academic, research and teaching roles at the UO. Fellow will spend all of their clinical time at the UO.
There will be collaboration with the OHSU Sports Medicine faculty – primarily OHSU Sports Medicine Fellowship Director and the Associate Sports Medicine Fellowship Director who will help develop the didactics curriculum and the academic schedule for the fellow. The head of Athletic Medicine at the UO will clinically supervise the fellow in the clinical roles at the athletic department.
The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.
