Department Overview

The fundamental purpose of OHSU and The Department of Psychiatry is to improve well-being.  The OHSU Department of Psychiatry is part of the OHSU Brain Institute, and focuses on providing excellent clinical treatment to our patients, leading innovative research, and offering hands-on training for the next generation of psychiatrists. We are currently recruiting for a Non OHSU Student worker to work with children and families.

Function/Duties of Position

Primary Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Working with parents and young children during research visits
  • Filing, copying, general office duties in support of the goals of the study
  • Attend weekly laboratory staff meetings with the PI and senior staff members
  • Administer data collection visits with families
  • Physiological data cleaning and other data entry tasks.

Additional safety training and occupational health requirements will be required to work with human research subjects.

Required Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in an Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Students with psychology and social science coursework.
  • Experience working with children.
