OHSU HEALTH at Hillsboro Medical Center

 

The OHSU Department of Neurology is seeking a full-time physician to join Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC) on the west side of Portland, Oregon.  The position offers an unique opportunity to practice at HMC in a collaborative, community-based environment while being employed by OHSU, Oregon's only academic health center.  Join our group of ecxperienced neurologists in delievering exceptional, team-based care focused on compassion, respect and improving outcomes for our community.

Function/Duties of Position

  • General neurology practice with opportunity to provide some subspecialty care if applicable. Subspecialists interested in a community practice with a mix of general neurology and subspecialty patients are encouraged to apply.
  • nationally recognized stroke center by the American Stroke Association
  • Guaranteed base salary with productivity incentive opportunities
  • Dedicated administrative time each week

  • EEG interpretation distributed based on candidate experience

Required Qualifications

* Active unrestricted Oregon medical license 

* Board certified / Board eligible in Neurology 

* The provider must be registered with Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and be authorized to prescribe medications prior to start date.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to satisfy standards of performance delineated by law.

Ability to manage heavy workload with multiple priorities and inflexible deadlines.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Proficient in the use of computing hardware and software, including personal computing equipment, electronic medical record, word processing and spreadsheet software.

Regular and consistent attendance at work.
