Department Overview

OHSU is Oregon's only public academic health center. We are a system of hospitals and clinics across Oregon and southwest Washington. We are an institution of higher learning, with schools of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry and public health and with a network of campuses and partners throughout Oregon. We are a national research hub, with thousands of scientists developing lifesaving therapies and deeper understanding. We are a statewide economic engine and Portland's largest employer. And as a public organization, we provide services for the most vulnerable Oregonians, and outreach to improve health in communities across the state. 

Function/Duties of Position

Under direct supervision, primarily provides general administrative support for a project, team, or work unit. Similar to an Office Clerk or Specialist*. May also include some basic data entry, reward fulfillment and report generation.

Required Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours).

  • Experience using computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of experience working in an office setting.
  • Adobe Acrobat and working knowledge of office equipment (scanners and copy machines).

Additional Details

Note to Undergraduate Students:Flexibility in schedule to accomidate school schedule. Duration of work is contingent of graduation from udergraduate degree.
