The purpose of this job/position is to function as a member of the Rehabilitation Services patient care team by providing physical therapy services such as therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual therapy, biofeedback, patient/family education, and various other physical modalities to assist patients in improving strength, endurance, mobility, and flexibility and to decrease pain. This position evaluates and treats a diverse specialties population across a range of conditions including oncology, pain, neurologic, etc. Therapists are expected to supervise therapy interns and to assist with other educational and research activities conducted by the department or the hospital and meet hospital standards regarding documentation and productivity. Credentialing is required for potential for freestanding clinic coverage in the future. Preferred: Board certification (Neuro, Oncology, Geriatrics, etc.); LANA or similar.
