The System/Application Analyst, Senior serves as the technological support in the Student Financial Aid department for the systems required to administer more than $100 million annually in OHSU student financial aid programs. The System/Application Analyst, Senior is responsible for implementing all systems necessary to maintain compliance with federal and state student financial aid regulations and ensuring that all student financial aid systems are operating properly within the university and the larger federal systems architecture, including compliance with all internal and external student financial aid reporting. The System/Application Analyst, Senior is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Ellucian Banner Student Financial Aid system, interfaces with the U.S. Department of Education¿s financial aid systems and ensures that all technological issues are resolved, and new functionality is implemented and operating properly.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or related field.
Minimum four years of industry related experience working with computer information systems in higher education, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
Demonstrated advanced work experience with database systems such as Ellucian Banner, PeopleSoft, Jenzibar, Power FAIDS or other student information management database.
Demonstrated advanced work experience with data extraction using data warehouse reporting tools.
Advanced skill and knowledge in Windows and PC applications; particularly MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
