The purpose of this position is to provide ophthalmic care and imaging assistance to the Casey Eye Institute Outreach Program telehealth screening site in Coos Bay, Oregon. The position will provide ancillary screening and testing as necessary and may require travel to other sites besides Coos Bay. Screenings will occur in Coos Bay twice a month. This includes enrolling and registering vision screening participants in EPIC, enter vision screening data entry into appropriate databases, and coordinating research study and outreach visits to Coos Bay with the outreach administrative and research team.
This is a limited duration, 100% donor funded position and is funded through/expected to end mid-FY26 (December 2025). This position requires the individual to live or be able to travel to Coos Bay, and screening will be on the weekday or weekends, twice a month.

BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA), provider level is required at time of hire. Initial certification is the responsibility of the employee. Renewal certification classes/cost provided by OHSU if job required.
COA or COT certification.
Previous experience in community outreach and working with diverse communities and serving understated populations.
