Department Overview

Drive with Purpose. Deliver Sight. Serve Oregon.

The OHSU Casey Eye Institute Community Outreach Program brings critical eye care directly to communities across Oregon that face barriers to access. As part of our donor-funded mission to end preventable blindness, our Mobile Health Units function as fully equipped eye clinics on wheels, and drivers are essential to making that care possible.

In this role, you will safely operate and support the setup of Mobile Health Units while working closely with outreach and clinical staff to ensure each community event runs smoothly. Every mile you drive helps deliver life-changing vision care to individuals and families who might otherwise go without.

You will be part of a nationally recognized eye institute known for excellence, compassion, and community impact. Your work directly supports preserving sight and improving lives across Oregon.

Schedule: Generally Saturdays and/or Sundays, one to two times per month

Why Drivers Love This Role
