Function/Duties of Position

The Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking a skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Division of Rhinology. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a tertiary academic teaching hospital, delivering high-level care for patients with complex sinus disease, skull base pathology, and head and neck cancer. Many of our patients travel long distances and may have already seen several other otolaryngologists before coming to OHSU, underscoring the importance of clinical expertise, compassionate care, and collaborative decision-making.

Working alongside faculty physicians, fellows, and residents, the APP will provide comprehensive clinical care including pre- and post-operative management, patient education, and second opinions. The role includes performance of outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, sinus debridement, nasal cautery, and biopsies. In addition to procedural and clinical time, this role offers the unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary clinic with our allergy and immunology team a few times each month.

As part of OHSU’s academic mission, the APP will also have the opportunity to engage in research and teaching, supporting the education of learners at multiple levels. A commitment to team-based care, clinical excellence, and interdisciplinary collaboration is essential, as we aim to deliver the highest quality care to patients from across the Pacific Northwest.
