This position is to conduct research within the work of Dr. Marguerita Lightfoot, in the School of Public Health, at the Oregon Health & Science University.
The position will involve literature review, analysis, and dissemination of research related to guaranteed income, food insecurity, and Black youth. The main activities will include (i) analysis of qualitative data examining food insecurity for Black youth receiving a guaranteed income, (ii) analysis of qualitative data examining homelessness trajectories among Black youth, (iii) development of manuscripts for peer re- viewed publication, and (iv) supporting publication of other manuscripts involving vulnerable, disenfran- chised populations of youth. These responsibilities are not all-inclusive and additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed.
Conducting qualitative data analysis
Writing of manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
Presentation of results at professional society meetings.
Drafting progress reports for the project sponsor.
