Under direct supervision, primarily provides general administrative support for a project, team, or work unit. Similar to an Office Clerk or Specialist*. May also include some basic data entry and report generation. Create study models and casts (using dental gypsum products) to be used by preclinical instructors/students in simulation lab courses in Restorative Dentistry. Predoctoral dental students in their simulation lab courses. The work is consistent with basic dental laboratory work. The work is done on an as needed basis as directed by the faculty directors of courses in the Restorative Dentistry preclinical curriculum. Perform additional, occasional tasks as directed by the Pre-clinic Program Director and Department Chair, such as investigate alternative materials for creating model, etc.
