Department Overview

This position provides a range of human resources support to OHSU employees. Under direct supervision, primarily provides general administrative support for a project, team, or work unit.  Like an Office Clerk or Specialist.  HR Service Center Coordinators (Students) are expected to answer basic questions and requests and escalate more complex issues. This position is required to be on campus part time.  

Function/Duties of Position

GENERAL POSITION INFORMATION: Student Workers must:

·         Follow the normal hiring process

·         Be at least 16 years old

·         Be paid Hourly (eligible for Overtime) and at least at the current minimum wage 

·         Assigned 0 FTE

Required Qualifications

Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in high school or college (undergraduate minimum 6 credit hours; graduate minimum 4.5 credit hours) *

* Hiring department is responsible for verifying student status.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some HR experience

  • 1 year in office setting

  • Experience using office equipment (computer, copier, scanner)

  • Knowledge of Oracle
