This is a Postdoctoral Scholar position to conduct research in the Drake, Fryer, Jacoby, and Nie lab. The Postdoc will work on projects characterizing abnormalities in the nerves controlling the airways in asthma. This position will require knowledge of cell biology and animal models of disease.
The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine provides expert diagnosis and care of patients with lung diseases in our Pulmonary Clinic, and of critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit. Our clinical interests include all areas of lung disease and critical illness. Monday-Friday 8 hour workday in a research lab setting. Schedule may vary depending on project requirements and may infrequently involve working during evenings/weekends. Busy work environment with strict deadlines, interruptions, multiple demands and people interactions.
