The Dental Clinics Billing Specialist & Managed Care Coordinator (Patient Account Representative 6113A) support position at the OHSU School of Dentistry is a support role within the Patient Financial Services Department, supporting comprehensive billing, insurance, and managed care operations for OHSU Dental Clinics.

The Dental Clinics Managed Care & Billing Specialist support plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless patient revenue cycle and providing an excellent experience for patients and staff. This position requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to complete work with considerable independence on a daily basis.
This combined role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in both managed care coordination and billing operations, providing valuable support to the OHSU School of Dentistry's mission.
Two years of recent (within the last 5 years) experience billing or collecting healthcare accounts in a business office; OR
4 years of general collection, billing or customer service experience; OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience
All employees must perform all duties in a manner which demonstrates the ability to work in a collaborative, self-managed, and self-directed work-team environment
Experienced in utilization of electronic health records
