The Access Control Technician maintains, inspects, and repairs access control systems. This includes badge access, security cameras, and related infrastructure and software. This position provides technical expertise and support for periodic testing, corrective maintenance/repair, minor modifications, and upgrades of Access Control Systems. The work will be performed in all OHSU owned and designated leased buildings both on and off the Marquam Hill campus. The Access Control Technician reports to the Utilities Manager.
Design/develop workflow tools, procedures, and performance indicators to maintain and document repair and maintenance activities in accordance with standards set by regulatory, accreditation and property insurance carriers, as well as industry best practices.
Project Support. Review construction documents to ensure consistency with OHSU specifications and standards. Assist in the approval process for Acceptance Testing and Commissioning. Update and maintain asset inventory for Access Control System components. Update and maintain as-built drawings and Facilities library for Access Control Components.
Four years HVAC/DDC experience with building control systems performing modification, adaptation, construction and design work of an intricate nature OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
