Department Overview

The Department of Radiation Medicine and Urology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) seeks a board-certified Advanced Practice Provider (APP) (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate) to join our faculty team.  This position offers a unique opportunity to provide urologic oncology care with Oregon’s only academic medical center.

This position supports the care of patients with prostate cancer and other genitourinary malignancies. This role is part of a collaborative effort to improve access to multidisciplinary oncologic care and supports OHSU and the Knight Cancer Institute’s mission to improve access to care for cancer patients. The APP will provide clinical services in both academic and community-based settings, with a focus on early detection, surveillance, survivorship, and the management of treatment-related side effects.

The APP will collaborate with faculty and staff in Radiation Medicine, Urology, Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and Medical Genetics to deliver comprehensive care. The role will be based at multiple clinical sites, including the Knight Cancer Center in Beaverton, in order to improve patient access and reduce current wait times for prostate cancer evaluation.

Please upload a Cover Letter and Resume/CV when applying

They will mentor students, trainees, and staff by modeling best practices and delegating responsibilities to foster learning. Additionally, the APP may engage in scholarly research to enhance the understanding, detection, and treatment of urologic diseases and may participate in public service activities with both OHSU and external organizations, as approved by the Department Chair.
