Evaluates the scope, complexity, and strategic impact of each submission to determine necessary resources, training, and stakeholder engagement. Coordination includes Pre-Award and/or Post-Award activities.

This position is part of a Sponsored Project Administration & Finance Shared Service team (SAT). SAT groups provide support to a combination of OHSU programs, departments, and institutes. The SAT groups provide comprehensive sponsored project administrative and financial management for the primary appointed faculty’s grants, contracts, clinical trials, and sponsored project programs. The Senior Grant and Contract Coordinator offers professional guidance to faculty, staff, and external partners on grant and contract processes, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and institutional requirements. They manage a wide range of funding mechanisms, including NIH R01s, U-series, DOD, NSF, training and center grants, clinical trials, and foundation awards.
