The purpose of this position is to provide administrative and technical support services to licensed pharmacists who are responsible for the investigational drugs service. The investigational drug service is responsible for the maintenance of information for regulatory agencies, sponsors and the institution with regards to the provision of investigational drug services to both inpatient and outpatient subjects. Subjects enrolled in clinical trials utilizing the investigational drug service range in age from neonates, infants less than one year of age, children and adolescents ages 10-18, adults ages 19-65 and the elderly over age 65.
Coordinate and perform wide range of administrative duties in support of the Department of Pharmacy Services. This job would include assisting with maintenance of studies in Vestigo and development of supporting policies and procedures. The coordinator will implement and maintain administrative processes within the pharmacy including scheduling of meetings for investigators, study monitors, and administrative teams. The coordinator conduct audits of studies and interpret regulations as they relate to data collected for the purposes of maintaining study integrity and the records of research pharmacy. They will maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulatory and compliance issues pertaining to research pharmacy. Finally, they will complete monthly IBS reports and help the pharmacy maintain relationships with the research community.
