Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner to join our established Orthopedic and Sports Medicine team in Astoria, Oregon.

Function/Duties of Position

Our opening offers the opportunity to join a group of experienced surgeons and physician associates who provide orthopedic and sports medicine care to patients in a community clinic setting. We offer a positive work-life alignment where comprehensive quality outpatient and surgical care is a priority.

  • General orthopedic practice that specializes in hip, knee and shoulder, knee/shoulder arthroscopy and basic fractures with a high concentration of total join replacements.
  • Exciting practice expansion this fall with the addition of an Orthopedic Upper Extremity/Hand surgeon.
  • Four-day work week with dedicated OR, outpatient, and administrative time.
  • Busy orthopedic practice working with experienced surgeons and physician associates.
  • Autonomy in seeing new and established adult and pediatric patients.
  • Excellent support staff to provider ratio.

Required Qualifications

  • Two (2) year surgical PA/NP experience
  • Active, unrestricted Oregon Physician Associate/Nurse Practitioner license
  • Active unrestricted DEA Certificate
  • ACLS America Heart Association certification

 

Physician Associate Requirements

  • Master's or baccalaureate degree and completion of an ARCA-PA approved program
  • Current NCCPA certification
  • Active, unrestricted Oregon Physician Associate license

Nurse Practitioner Requirements:

  • Master's, post-master's or doctorate degree in a nurse practitioner program accredited by CCNE or ACEN
