Function/Duties of Position

The Community Research Liaison, Sr / Education and Training Coordinator is an integral and valued member of the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilites (UCEDD) core team. The UCEDD strives to improve the health and quality of life of Oregonians with disabilities and their families.

 

Key responsibilities for this position include educational program planning and implementation, training program oversite, community outreach and engagement, event coordination, data collection and reporting. The Education and Training Coordinator will continually monitor and coordinate a wide range of programmatic functions, including: logistics, assisting to develop program policies and procedures; implement program operations and workflow; recommend process improvements; and communicate with faculty and staff about program policies and procedures. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal communication skills, web and computer skills, and experience with educational program planning and implementation in a broad range of media and learning platforms. The position also requires a high degree of initiative, strong attention to detail, independent judgment, and collaborative skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in relevant field AND 2 years of relevant experience OR Equivalent combination of training and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a field related to the position. 
  • Previous Graduate Education experience.
  • Proficiency with scheduling systems.
