The primary mission of the Division of Oncological Sciences at OHSU's Knight Cancer Institute is to enhance understanding of cancer through basic, translational, and population-based research, ultimately improving cancer prevention, detection, and treatment for all. Our community of faculty, trainees, and staff comprises scientists from a diverse range of disciplines. This position is ideal for an MPH in Epidemiology/Biostatistics interested in gaining experience in breast cancer epidemiology, cancer prevention, and the role of nutrition, diet, and the microbiome in cancer outcomes. The research assistant will contribute to projects on population- and clinic-based studies to advance cancer prevention and outcomes research. This is a temporary position, set to end on June 30, 2026.
